ClearOne (CLRO) is giving voice-over-IP (VoIP) companies, telecommunications agents and managed service providers (MSPs) more options in the desktop and mobile communications market.

This Salt Lake City-based video conferencing and collaboration solutions provider this week launched the ClearOne Connections Partner Program that is designed to provide "unrivaled opportunities" for service providers and telecom agents selling voice, wireless, data and cloud services looking to succeed in the growing any-to-any ubiquitous video conferencing service market.

"The Connections Partner Program will allow our partners to invest time rather than infrastructure dollars to develop solution-based revenue streams," Kent Terpe, ClearOne's national channel manager, told Talkin' Cloud.

ClearOne's Connections Partner Program features two models:

  • White Label Channel Program -- This program enables VoIP companies and MSPs to sell and support ClearOne's Spontania cloud-based video collaboration services under their own brand.
  • Agent Program -- This program enables telecom agents to sell products and services such as local and long distance and Internet access from various telecom companies.

"Our cloud-based video conferencing solution positions the company to target the under 50-employee sector. This business segment is now a target of opportunity ... it spends heavily on voice, data and IT services and accounts for approximately 98 percent of the total market," Terpe added.

ClearOne reports record revenue growth in Q3

ClearOne last week reported its revenue increased 27 percent year over year to $15.3 million in the third quarter of this year, and the video conferencing and collaboration solutions provider could further boost its revenue thanks in part to its new channel program.

Zee Hakimoglu, ClearOne's CEO, pointed out demand for her company's products and services has increased over the past year, and she is optimistic about ClearOne's prospects as well.

"We continue to enjoy record revenue growth with solid profitability fueled by our strongest lineup of audio and visual solutions to date," Hakimoglu said in a prepared statement. "Strong demand for our professional audio products, including our innovative microphones, contributed to this impressive revenue growth."
