Managed IT service provider SunGard Availability Services has expanded its Business Partner Program to let channel partners offer Enterprise Cloud Services to customers. By adding infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) as a channeloffering, SunGard is trying to market ityself as the all-in-one partner for MSPs looking to shift into cloud services.

As TalkinCloud reported when SunGard Enterprise Cloud Services launched in the February of 2011, the offering consists of managed compute, network, storage and security resources that can be customized for individual customers. Technology-wise, it's built on the Vblock platform, leveraging virtualization, networking and storage from VMware, Cisco, and EMC (see VCE).

SunGard's existing channel suite includes managed hosting, storage and recovery, and consulting services. Now, SunGard is promoting itself as the only partner an MSP might need when moving customers onto the cloud. And SunGard is accommodating systems integrators and smaller resellers both with the two-track Business Partner Program that enables direct resale or simple referrals.
