Avaya is adding a host of multichannel unified communications and contact center cloud solutions for midmarket businesses to its portfolio, the company announced on Monday.

The aptly named line of Avaya Midmarket Cloud solutions are available in two deployment options, including the Partner Powered by Avaya Office solution and the OnAvaya – Google Cloud Platform. The offerings are expected to help midmarket customers to make the transition from legacy on-premise solutions to a hybrid cloud model, according to the press release.

The first solution, called Partner-Powered by Avaya IP Office, is available globally, while OnAvaya – Google Cloud Platform is currently only available in the United States. Avaya said it recently expanded OnAvaya – Google Cloud Platform to include “full unified communications as well as multichannel contact center abilities” and is aiming the offering at partners without pre-established cloud infrastructure.

Both options are based off of the Avaya IP Office Platform, according to the company. Although they are certainly not the only legacy-to-hybrid cloud UC solutions available on the market, Avaya claims that its offerings support “more operating systems and devices than any competitive cloud offer” in addition to giving users access to Avaya Communicator for Web, the company’s online collaboration tool.

Avaya is also looking to stand out from the rest of the midmarket UC crowd by marketing its Midmarket Cloud Solutions on the basis that they utilize the same code base as those already installed on-premises. This allows customers to use their existing investments when upgrading, while giving partners the ability to build off of their previous knowledge of legacy solutions, according to the announcement.

Based on recent industry findings on the state of unified communications among enterprise users, its no surprise that Avaya is keen to step up their game in regard to the hybrid cloud market.

In January, a study conducted by BroadSoft (BSFT) predicted 3x UC growth among the large enterprise segment, as well as 7x growth among midmarket customers and 5x growth among SMBs by 2020. In fact, a report from BCC Research also released a report last month, which found that the Unified Communication and Collaboration market already generated $26.5 billion in 2015, with the company predicting a surge of up to $62 billion by 2020.
