Internet IaaS provider Dyn has added industry veterans from Red Hat, Distil Networks, SiteSpect and Catchpoint to its Thought Leader Council, an informal advisory committee.
Dyn, a provider of Internet IaaS, is looking to other technology companies to fill out its Thought Leadership Council, an informal advisory organization to provide the company's leaders with advice on its brand, products and future growth.
This week, Dyn added four new members to its advisory council, including:
- Mehdi Daoudi, CEO of Catchpoint
- Eric J. Hansen, founder and CEO of SiteSpect
- Rami Essaid, CEO of Distil Networks
- Mike McGrath, principal OpenShift architect and online operations manager at Red Hat (RHT)
The four new council members join existing members Josh Bancroft of Box, Artur Bergman of Fastly, John Adams of Twitter, Kai Gray of UpThere, Mike Rembetsy of Etsy, Kevin Chu of Digitaria, Mark Imbriaco of Github, Brandon Mason of DataSong, Lenny Tropiano of HomeAway and Jason Evans of Stackpop.
Clearly, it's a growing advisory council made up of a variety of technology vendors and service provider management. And Dyn, which has not before graced the pages of Talkin' Cloud, has added several interesting businesses in distinct markets to its Thought Leadership Council. There are some pretty big players in there, too.
"Dyn has long benefited from the collective experience of and collaboration with the members of the TLC," said Matt Toy, Dyn's vice president of Client Services, in a prepared statement. "Now we're collaborating with them again but this time we're opening it up to the public, the combination of which we believe will make Geek Summer Camp the can't miss tech event of the summer."
Geek Summer Camp is Dyn's upcoming conference for the web performance and Internet infrastructure industry—technology elements certainly on the minds organizations of all sizes that have embraced or want to embrace the cloud, particularly the public cloud, in some form or another. The conference will be held Aug. 7-8 in Manchester, N.H., Dyn's headquarters.
