Cloud business collaboration specialist LiveHive Inc. is adding integrations with Microsoft (MSFT) Active Directory and SkyDrive this week with features including single sign-on capabilities through the company's workplace platform.
Through partnerships with OneLogin and Ping Identity and new Active Directory integrations, LiveHive now supports single sign on for Microsoft environments including Exchange and Office and SkyDrive.
Users can also edit both Office documents and Google Docs documents from within LiveHive workspaces without having to to download and re-load to the cloud. The integration also enables users to organize, collaborate and share Office files on any tablet, handset or desktop through LiveHive's workspace navigation panel.
LiveHive Vice President of Marketing Laura Lilyquist said in her prepared remarks that LiveHive's previous integration with the Google ecosystem has brought 2,000 customers to the LiveHive platform.
"Now, we're launching the same level of integration for our Microsoft-based customers," she said. "Our integration with key Microsoft cloud solutions allows our customers to work with Google, Office and Dropbox documents within the same workspace."
LiveHive is offering a 30-day free trial to any business, which includes all features for an unlimited number of collaborators. LiveHive also offers three levels of paid plans billed annually.
The new announcement builds on previous LiveHive moves to add a new tagging feature designed to add dynamic layer of workflow within its collaborative workspaces service back in June 2013.
