Tintri this week announced a new global channel partner program to assist its partners with accelerating customer adoption of storage. In addition, the storage virtualization vendor also released a new partner app for mobile devices.
The new Tintri Channel Partner program provides channel partners with additional resources, trainings and program benefits through several new initiatives and tools.
For example, the new program features a three-tiered partnership model (Platinum, Gold and Silver); an advisory council, which provides partners with a forum to exchange best practices; and additional certfication opportunities.
In an interview with The VAR Guy, Tintri Senior Director of Channel Marketing Derek Dal Ponte said, "What we’re finding out is that there is a very cult-like following for our products from our customer base growing at a very fast clip."
He added: "That growth is happening through partners, and we want to share best practices in the partner community and continue to step on the gas pedal."
The new partner program app gives Tintri channel partners a way to access information -- such as sales tools and contact information, updates, and training -- from their mobile devices
