Global IT solutions provider Nerds On Site (NOS) will now promote and sell My Digital Shield's (MDS's) cybersecurity offering.

MDS today announced a partnership with NOS that could help the Wilmington, Delaware-based security-as-a-service (SECaaS) provider deliver its cybersecurity solution to thousands of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

Under the agreement, NOS will offer MDS's cybersecurity solution to its SMB customers; this IT solutions provider currently has a relationship with over 100,000 SMBs across its global network, according to MDS CEO Andrew Bagrin.

"Both companies are committed to serving the needs of SMBs, and with this partnership, we are furthering our mission of delivering Fortune 500-level cybersecurity to small businesses," Bagrin said in a prepared statement.

Bagrin told Talkin' Cloud that the NOS-MDS partnership reflects his company's commitment to the channel.

He noted that MDS is focused on facilitating sales through the channel, and ultimately, the partnership provides two key benefits to his company's channel partners:

  1. Confidence that MDS will always work with the channel.
  2. Peace of mind knowing that if channel partners need third-party installation services, NOS has a network of engineers that are trained to install and set up MDS services.

MDS updated its channel partner program last month. Rick Green, MDS's vice president of channel sales, said at that time he expected to see a tenfold increase in the number of partner sign-ons over the next quarter.
