ScaleMatrix offers IaaS, PaaS and SaaS and managed services options to channel partners. The company's partner program has three tiers:
- Spiff Program: A basic referral that thanks resellers for introducing ScaleMatrix products and services to prospective customers.
- Agent Program: The program, ScaleMatrix says, provides competitive compensation rates, and offers Agents a wide portfolio of colocation, cloud, and managed services offers to add to their portfolios.
- Partner Program: In addition to leveraging ScaleMatrix data centers, partners can build new, recurring revenue streams from the products and services sold in conjunction with the ScaleMatrix Channel team.
That sounds simple enough. But the really interesting part of ScaleMatrix's partner program strategy involves a growing portfolio of services built atop CA Technologies' software. For starters, ScaleMatrix leveraged CA AppLogic to stand up its cloud services platform. Next, ScaleMatrix is deploying CA ARCserve -- the backup and recovery platform -- as a cloud service.
