Zynstra has launched a new hybrid cloud computing solution designed specifically for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and  managed and sold exclusively through the channel.

The company said its new hybrid offering is for businesses with up to 250 employees and not just a ‘hand me down’ enterprise product scaled for smaller companies.

The solution combines Zynstra's management solution and technology with HP (HPQ) Proliant servers and enables IT service providers to manage customer implementation remotely via the cloud.

The solution comes with storage, security, backup, recovery capabilities and optional software applications, such as Microsoft (MSFT) Exchange and SharePoint.

Although Zynstra's hybrid SMB solution is only available to U.K. channel partners currently, the company has plans for the U.S. market, Zynstra CEO Nick East told Talkin' Cloud in an email.

"Zynstra team has worked extensively in North America, and we have plans for expansion into that market," he said. "We would be delighted to hear from any potential channel partners who are interested in our proposition."
