Cloud-based email deliverability specialist SendGrid and cloud infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider ProfitBricks have formed a partnership to assist customers with email list delivery challenges.
According both companies, ProfitBricks' customers will be able to leverage SendGrid's SMTP services and APIs, customer support and advanced analytics.
ProfitBricks' customers can also take advantage of SendGrid's advanced deliverability features, including their own dedicated IP address, whitelist services, ISP deliverability outreach, feedback loops and more, as well as sub-user, parse and event APIs.
ProfitBricks co-founder and CEO Achim Weiss noted in a statement that more customers are looking to send email from their SaaS and Web applications hosted in his company's data centers.
"Our partnership with SendGrid alleviates the challenges and headaches our customers face when setting up and managing their own SMTP servers," he said. "SendGrid provides ProfitBricks' customers access to all the necessary email deliverability capabilities for their applications via APIs, allowing them to focus on their business and application instead of managing email servers."
SendGrid CEO Jim Franklin said in a prepared the he expects the partnership with ProfitBricks to "grow and mature."
SendGrid joined the Google (GOOG) Cloud Platform Partner Program back in July to bring its email delivery management solution to Google App Engine developers.
