Open cloud computing company Rackspace (RAX) said it's stepping up its marketing efforts in Mexico, focusing on what the company calls its Fanatical Support.
Rackspace said it has customers in Mexico already, but this is first time the company plans to actively market its Fanatical Support there.
Rackspace Director of Latin American Markets Alberto Sandoval said in a prepared statement that cloud is growing through Latin America and Mexico, encompassing private, public clouds and combination hybrid clouds.
"At Rackspace we only see this trend continuing as applications and workloads continue to evolve," he said.
Rackspace Fanatical Support focuses on responsiveness, ownership, expertise and transparency, according to the company.
Rackspace recently partnered with 10gen on developing cloud solutions around MongoDB. Last year, 10gen raised $42 million for MongoDB and NoSQL product development, and also partnered with Red Hat (RHT) to promote both MongoDB and NoSQL.
