Cloud infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) provider ProfitBricks announced the expansion of its Channel Partner Program by introducing its new Reseller Program, which incentivizes resellers with discounted cloud computing services. The program was unveiled at the Channel Partners Conference and Expo in Las Vegas.

The ProtfitBricks Channel Partner Program focuses on value-added resellers (VARs), managed services providers (MSPs), IT consultants, system integrators (SIs) and independent software vendors (ISVs), offering recurring revenue streams via IaaS offerings in today's market. Qualified reseller partners can receive up to a 25 percent discount ProfitBricks' next-generation cloud computing services, "depending on the reseller’s monthly recurring revenue of ProfitBricks IaaS services," according to the company.

Customer relationships will be handled by the resellers, including billing, customer support, sales and account provisioning. The company's cloud computing service also offers a drag-and-drop graphical user interface, a full integrated application programming interface (API), co-marketing support for Profitbricks IaaS and two-tier support support for reseller partners. 

"ProfitBricks is determined to simplify the way cloud computing is sold through the channel," said ProfitBricks USA CEO Bob Rizika. "Our clear pricing model and data center design tool make channel sales less complicated and potentially more lucrative for reseller partners. Customers want greater speed and higher flexibility in their infrastructure, and we can help resellers meet this growth opportunity."

In mid-February, ProfitBricks announced the availability of the ProfitBricks Foundation Program, an incentive program for startups. Qualifying startups are eligible receive ProfitBricks' virtual data centers at a reduced cost for one year. ProfitBricks launched the program to New England-area startups in December and is now offering the same incentives to startups across the United States.
