Cloud technology provider CohesiveFT has joined Google's (GOOG) Cloud Platform Partner Program this week, bringing two CohesiveFT products, network virtualization with VNS3 and image management with Server3, into closer integration with Google's infrastructure as a service.
CohesiveFT Products and Marketing Director Ryan Koop says the company's participation in Google's program will help CohesiveFT continue to build deeper integration into GCE.
The relationship makes it easier for users of Google Compute Engine (GCE) infrastructure as a service (IaaS) to leverage two CohesiveFT products: network virtualization with VNS3 and image management with Server3.
VNS3, a hybrid overlay networking appliance, enables customers to extend into the cloud, managing cloud based servers as if they were running in an on-premise data center; while Service3 allows customers to install, configure and personalize virtual servers and application topologies.
CohesiveFT Products and Marketing Director Ryan Koop told Talkin' Cloud in a email that "Google is a global tech juggernaut."
"Our participation in the program will help us continue to build deeper integration into GCE and work with the Google team to deliver higher levels of customer cloud success," he said.
He added that Google tapped CohesiveFT as an authorized technology partner because of the company's focus on cloud user control.
Koop said CohesiveFT's channel partners are globally deploying hundreds of VNS3 networks.
"We expect that Google's unique combination of brand, capability, and performance will bring new use-cases to us, as well as new partners," he added.
Google Cloud Platform Partner Program partners offer complementary pre-integrated technologies from third-party vendors.
