Intermedia has updated its channel partner program to provide partners with additional support, functionality and incentives to accelerate the growth of partner cloud business.
Cloud services and Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) Exchange hosting provider Intermedia is expanding its channel partner program by introducing new ways to support its partners, as well as new tools and resources.
Included in the updated Intermedia Partner Program is also a new Partner Sales Portal, which the company stated was designed to help accelerate the growth of the company's channel partners. The program updates follow the industry trend in empowering partners, and Intermedia's goal is to enable its channel to build high-margin, recurring revenue around a variety of cloud services.
The crux of the updated partner program is the new portal, which provides partner sales and marketing teams with additional resources to help them build a successful cloud business. Included in the portal are on-demand webinars, educational documents and white-label materials used to aid partners in generating leads and closing deals. In addition to the new portal, Intermedia also is now offering live chat call-back request functionality to give partners even more ready access to their partners sales reps.
"As our suite of cloud services continues to grow rapidly, we're increasing partner support, sales and marketing tools, training and demand-generation resources," said Michael Gold, president of Intermedia, in a prepared statement. "These new enhancements to our partner program are specifically designed to keep pace with our expanding portfolio of cloud services."
Intermedia currently boasts more than 12,000 resellers in its partner program. The company offers its partners the ability to resell its Hosted Exchange, Cloud Server, Hosted PBX, Lync, file sharing and syncing, backup, security and other cloud and hosted services.
