independenceIT, which offers desktop as a service, has launched iIT University, a sales and marketing program aimed at helping channel partners increase their skills to build cloud services revenue.
independenceIT, which promotes desktop as a service, is looking to help channel partners with cloud-oriented sales and marketing training through a new program the company has named iIT University. All VARs, MSPs and ISPs that join the iIT Partner Program are immediately enrolled in the training program, which provides access to information, materials and tools the company deems as necessary to create substantial cloud services revenue.
Through the program, independenceIT is providing partners with three learning components in the hopes they will maximize their revenue opportunities. They are:
- Strategic consulting. The company will be providing channel partners with customized, strategic consulting and work with partners to determine how cloud services fit within their current portfolio of offerings. The goal is also to help partners develop cloud services that are attractive to customers to develop additional revenue opportunities.
- Personalized training sessions. The company will be offering partners Cloud Workspace Certified training sessions that are focused on the needs of channel partner sales, support, administration, technology and project management. The training sessions are meant to maximize partners' capabilities of the independenceIT Cloud Workspace Suite.
- Brandable marketing material. In helping to enable partners to sell cloud services successfully, independenceIT will provide customizable marketing and sales collateral such as case studies, brochures and SLAs. Each of the resources have been designed to be easily branded by partners to create a strong business case for cloud in the eyes of customers.
"Rather than simply dropping off some training packets or holding a webinar with multiple partners, independenceIT created a customized presentation that gives our sales, support and technical teams insights into effectively selling and managing cloud services," said Michael Drake, CEO of masterIT, a well-known MSP that's pushing into cloud services. "The extended session we attended allowed our staff to quickly expand their knowledge and troubleshoot potential sales road blocks. iIT helped us crystallize our go-to-market strategy and identify new markets we could address with this offering."
independenceIT maintains a three-tiered partner program with Preferred, Elite and Platinum partner levels for MSPs, VARs and ISPs. The program enables partners to resell the company's suite of business cloud services.
"iIT University helps partners understand the different components of what is essentially an AtoZ package, from training to selling to implementing and moving business forward," Seth Bostock, executive vice president of corporate development at independenceIT told Talkin' Cloud.
