He is a Merger & Acquisition veteran with a long track record of starting and leading businesses while pursuing and completing liquidity events for those firms and their shareholders. Notably, Mr. Murphy has led over 35+ acquisition transactions for buy-side clients in the IT Services space since the inception of the company in 2010.
Rick is expert at conceiving, planning and leading comprehensive corporate development and M&A strategies to transform and enrich IT businesses. He is fluent in all related corporate, financial and legal business matters from inception through closing and compliance. As a buy-side M&A advisor, he leads the entire acquisition lifecycle, from corporate pre-structuring and initial candidate contact, through due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, deal negotiation and transaction structuring, to the completion of all transaction documentation through to closing. Mr. Murphy’s background is varied and deep, including specific expertise in business planning, financial modeling, and strategic sales.
